To make a donation from the United States
As a vetted Affiliate of the Amigos of Costa Rica, a US based nonprofit organization whose mission is to support CRUSA (Costa Rica USA Foundation) in its commitment to fostering sustainable development in Costa Rica, US donors can make a tax deductible donation by credit card, wire transfer, stock transfers or check via the Animales de Asis page on the Amigos website. Thanks to the generous support of the CRUSA, Amigos does not charge any overhead fees so Animales de Asis receives the full benefit of your support!
Donations by check can be mailed to Amigos of Costa Rica:
- Put “Animales de Asis” on the “memo” line so your donation will be deposited in the Animales of Asis account
- Donors will receive a receipt via mail from Amigos of Costa Rica which they can use for US taxes.

As a registered non-profit organization in Costa Rica, Animales de Asis is subject to Federal Regulations, and donors may deduct their contributions from their Costa Rican income tax report [Decreto Ejecutivo No. 3623-P, Gaceta No. 213, Noviembre 2010].
You can make a donation from Costa Rica using PayPal or a bank transfer.
